My ISAGENIX Story
I was first introduced to the Isagenix cleansing and nutritional system while going through breast cancer and reconstruction surgeries this past year. Here is my story. In 1999, I was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent a lumpectomy, lymphadenectomy and radiation. I recovered from this with an excellent prognosis, but in January of 2002 was surprisingly diagnosed with breast cancer again. This time it meant undergoing a double mastectomy and reconstruction. In the span of 15 months, I went through a biopsy, double mastectomy, five double reconstructive surgeries, and numerous additional invasive reconstructive procedures. Then I had to undergo a hemorrhoidectomy and my body decided to go into menopause – all at the same time! In the midst of this, I began to wonder how I could look forward to a future that seemed full of more physical pain and the probability of being deformed, scarred and overweight. It seemed that my life as a young, attractive woman was basically over before its time. My story has a happy ending. At the beginning of all these procedures, I believe God had spoken to me – that He would ”renew my youth” and “satisfy my desire with good things.” I held on to those promises, and they have come to pass. He granted me an incredible medical team to produce amazing surgical results. The other thing He did was to bring a product into my life, which I began using after the first four surgeries. By that time I could no longer pull myself up by the bootstraps. I was losing courage and was in too much physical pain and despair. Because of the pain and stress, my body was not producing the serotonin I needed to keep a bright outlook. At the advice of my physician, I reluctantly went on a low dose of Zoloft to support the serotonin levels I would need to finish all the surgeries. It helped some, but I didn’t like feeling only partially alive and some of the other effects that the medication caused. It was at this point that I began using the Isagenix products with their Nutritional, Cleansing Technology. I wanted to lose some weight to help me feel better about my body as I finished going through the reconstructive surgeries. What I didn’t realize when I began taking the products is the effect they would have on my serotonin levels and my general outlook on life. It was only after reading Dr. John Gray’s newest book, “The Mars and Venus Diet and Exercise Solution,” in which he endorses the Isagenix products four times, that I understood what this product was doing to help my body produce serotonin and stimulate healthy brain chemistry. From the time I began taking the products, my outlook began to dramatically improve. The drenching menopausal hot flashes completely disappeared. My sugar cravings were gone. I began to sleep better. And I lost 20 lbs – going from approximately 145 lbs to 125 lbs and a tight Size 11 to a comfortable Size 6. And the ENERGY! All through the final four double surgeries, I felt good, I had energy, and a happy, optimistic outlook. I feel 10 years younger than I did before I was ever diagnosed with cancer, and I look 10 years younger too! (By the way – that is not just my opinion – it is also the opinion of many of my friends who have seen the changes in me!) It is absolutely incredible!
