With over 4 years experience of contracting at some of the most reputable agencies in London, I am a very reliable Senior Flash designer skil ed in getting to best out of standard and Rich Media banners (with experience using Flash Talking, Mediamind/Eye Blaster and Doubleclick). Whilst not a coder, I do have a good understanding of Actionscript. I am also comfortable and enjoy working in After Ef ects and video too. I have excel ent organisational skil s, a dedicated approach to my work and a good eye for attention to detail. I would consider myself to be an articulate and friendly person.

Design, artworking/formatting of packaging, manuals and promotional material for major Atari, EA, Capcom and Eidos gaming titles. Brochure design. Typesetting. Image manipulation and retouching. Account management.
Working on major Universal and Disney film titles within a large production department, I was responsible for the artworking, layout, image retouching and enhancement for DVD sleeves, disks, packshots, Point of Sales material and posters. Preparing artwork for re-pro. Troubleshooting Mac hardware and software problems. Maintenance of database system and network.
After gaining the necessary funding from The Prince’s Trust, I set up the graphic design company Soma Creative. Working on a diverse, interesting and challenging range of projects, my partner and I soon built up a list of regular clients. Tasks included commissioning freelance designers, photographers, illustrators and art directing photo shoots. Projects included; - 2 CD Album sleeves/cover designed for Chillifunk Records (one of which was showcased in - Identity/logo, flyers, menu and business cards for ‘HIT’ bar, Hammersmith and ‘The Bridge’ - Packaging, brochure and advertisements for ‘The Times’ educational software.
Other duties include marketing, invoicing, bookkeeping, quoting, liaising with clients and printers.
I was responsible for taking jobs from concept through to print in an extremely busy environment. Ordering and monitoring stock levels of print material. Magazine design. Artworking. Typesetting. PoS. Corporate identity. Design for web. Troubleshooting Mac hardware and software problems. Prioritise and distribute studio workload. Out putting film separations, chromalins and bromides. Hi- Res optical scanning and image retouching. Liaising with printers and clients.
I managed the design department, which consisted of myself and two designers (both of whom I had interviewed/employed and trained). Our main responsibilities were the design of three annual catalogues. Studio and location photography. Photography archive management. Image manipulation. Logo design. Packaging design.
