Research Engagement:

The research activity of my group mainly focuses on mechanistic studies of thermal reactions (catalytic and bio-chemical importance) in solution, and photochemical studies (environmental relevant processes and usable form of energy evolution). Modern kinetic techniques are applied in order to elucidate the molecular nature of the investigated reactions. The goal of these studies is to contribute towards a better understanding of these reactions and their detailed mechanistic course. Actively leaded/leading the research projects in the fol owing areas were/are under financial support by TWAS, DST, MNES, RSC (UK), IFCPAR, DST-DAAD and various CSIR networked programs (COR 08, NWP-30 & NWP-22).
