So you want to be an Intern at the CPC Summer Camp…great! Because we are striving to have the
best camp ever, we want the best Interns ever.
Requirements:
- You must be going into 9th grade to be eligible to be an intern. - Applications will be looked over and approved or disapproved, just because you fill out a
form does not mean you will be accepted as an intern.
Full Camp Experience – Cost $75.00 This includes: All Meals & Snacks, Transportation, Admission to all Parks, Camp Shirt, Lodging Expectations: Once you are on Camp Grounds you are fully involved in the Camp. You are there to be a
counselor to these campers, to make sure they are having a great time, they stay excited, stay positive, cheers them on at the games…. this is a serious commitment. This means: Eating with the kids, Playing games with the kids, Worshiping with the kids, Hiking with the kids, Helping clean up, Tear down….you get the point. Thursday Camp ONLY – Cost $20.00 This includes: All Meals & Snacks, Supplies to any Games/Crafts, Camp Shirt Expectations: You will come in the morning and leave at night. There is no overnight Lodging. You will
check in and check out with a Camp Coordinator. Once you are on Camp Grounds, you will stay there until the day is “complete” unless other arrangements have been made. You will be helping with games, projects, in the kitchen, with worship … etc. Friday Camp ONLY – Cost - $50.00 This includes: All Meals & Snacks, Admission to Magic Springs & the Alligator Farm, Camp Shirt Expectations: You will come in the morning and leave at night. There is no overnight Lodging. You will
check in and check out with a Camp Coordinator. Once you are on Camp Grounds, you will stay there until the day is “complete” unless other arrangements have been made. At the Alligator Farm & Magic Springs you are to stay with your team and the team leader is your boss, this is not a free-for-all, you are here to make camp an exciting place. You will also be helping with meals & snacks, in the service, Saturday Camp ONLY – Cost $20.00 This includes: All Meals & Snacks, Camp Shirt, Access to all Events Expectations: Camp ends Saturday around 2:00 pm, you will come in the morning and leave when the
campers do. You will check in and check out with a Camp Coordinator. Once you are on Camp Grounds, you will stay there until the day is “complete” unless other arrangements have been made. This is our outdoor games day, you will be helping with Obstacle Course set up and making sure the kids get through it while having a lot of encouragement and fun, Helping down at the lake (again, focus on the kids, not your friends), Helping with snacks & meals, Cleaning up…etc. If you just want a Camp Shirt - $10.00
Deadlines March 17th – Intern Application Due
March 31st – If Application is accepted a $25.00 is Due May 12th – Remaining Balance must be paid in full
NOTE: You can make payments at the info table any time. Rules - At no point are you to leave the camp, all car keys will be taken up at the start of camp. If
there is an emergency or you have to work, special arrangements will be made for you to leave camp, but these are the exceptions, not the rule.
- Cell phones will be allowed, but you are here to work and if we have to tell you repeatedly to
put the phones away….we will put them away for you. While you are with the kids, be with
the kids. During down time….text, FB, tweet and Instagram away.
- You will be put to work, we promise. If you think you are coming to hang out with your
friends … don’t sign up, you will be working and you will be asked to do a lot of different
things. Keep a good attitude, especially in front of the children. If you have a problem with another intern or with a job you have been given – go to the Camp Directors or Team
- If we see ANY Energy drink of any kind, they will go down the drain. You will be awake
before the kids helping get the day ready. There will be no “sleeping in because we stayed up till 3 am”…. Not gonna happen. There will be a curfew and lights out time.
- We want you to have just as much fun as the kids are having, and as long as you cooperate,
and don’t cause problems, that can happen. These kids look up to you and we need you to

have your parents pick you up and no refunds will be made.
