The year is just flying by as we move into November, Can’t believe it’s almost Christmas. As we start gearing up to the festive season, please spare a thought for our grooms who are dedicated to the welfare of your horses and those you ride. They work long hard hours ensuring your horse is well looked after, and help out with tacking up school ponies, helping the kids and all the other lit le things we take for granted. We will have a box in the club house for donations from anyone wanting to help fill their Christmas hampers. PAST EVENTS
We held our af iliated show on the 5th and 6th October. A big thank you to all those who give of their time to help out at our shows. The show was a great success, well done to all our riders who took part! Pony riders Caitlyn, Chanel, Tyla, Rachael and Adrian all rode like the professionals they are, Chanel winning a class, Adrian winning a class, Caitlyn placing 2nd and 3rd, and Tyla jumping 4 fantastic clear rounds. Rachael jumped her first 70cm track in only her second af iliated show. You guys do us proud! Nicole, Melissa, Kelly B, Kelly M, Holly, Candice and Yasmin also all took part, all riding very well and placing in their classes. Martin rode Boris in his first 1.20m class and won the class and Laurie jumped Bono in his first 1.10m class. Canterbury riders at ended the triple P show last weekend, Laurie jumped four lovely clears in her first show on Resolution, Martin placed on Norman. Candice won a class on Banus and placed on Solo, she also rode Diski who jumped liked a star. Well done Candice! Melissa also took part on Gwynavere, having two unfortunate poles. UPCOMING EVENTS
Due to the bad weather we have been having, we had to postpone our training show. The new date is on the 3rd November, weather permitting. Laurie, Candice and Sage are heading of to SA Champs in PE this month, we wish them the best of luck. LIVERY CLIENTS
Please note horses were due deworming end October, this will reflect on your December account. Dentist is due again so please let me know if you want your horses checked. INFO RIDING SCHOOL
December pony camp will take place on the 12th, 13th and 14th December, Book now to secure your place.
The riding school wil be closing for the holidays from the 11th December until the 6th January 2014. Last
lesson for the year wil be wed the 11th December and lessons will resume on Mon the 6th January 2014.
Please remember that if the weather is too bad to ride we will do a theory lesson, lessons are not rescheduled or caught up due to rain. We are able to ride if it is not raining too hard and there is no lightening. Fees are due on or before the 7th day of the month and are payable in advance. If you are unable to make a
lesson please let Biddi know in advance. Lessons billed for will not be credited and must be caught up. The onus is on you to schedule a catchup time and day. Catchups will not be carried over from term to term. Pls note change in bank details.
