salicylaldehyde and/or derivatives, were used to prepare chelating ligands having SNO or ONO donor sites. Phenanthroline (1, 10-phen), imidazole (Him) and/or derivatives,
pyrazole and triazole are employed as spacers, to construct the mono-nucleating and bi-
nucleating metal complexes. The transition metal sulphates, chlorides or nitrates (Cu, Ni,
Co or Zn) are utilized for complexation and the ligational behavior of ligands and structural
properties of complexes are explored. The electrochemical and biological/pharmacological
activity of the prepared compounds was investigated. (For more details please see articles
